Being Thankful

Today I'm joining with Eclectic Momma and being Thankful.
Thank You, God, for this bundle of joy!

And this one!

And this one! (And that she didn't cry when I pulled her tooth out.)
Thank You that I have the chance to see my children being creative.
Thank You for the beautiful colors.

Thank You for the chance to de-stress with wool and knitting needles.
Thank You for the little piece left for me.

On Foothills Parkway

The leaves this year are more beautiful than I've ever seen!

Miah and Larkin discovered a little cave where they could look right up and see Elowen and me waiting for them.

Rohan took every chance he could to sit down and whittle.

Finding an eastern fence lizard is always a delight to the kids.

It's been a long time since I've added a new bird to my life list, so finding this little red-breasted nuthatch was a treat.

"For the beauty of the earth,
For the beauty of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our grateful hymn of praise."

New in the Shop

I've had this idea in my head for several weeks and was only just able to finish it last night.
 Behold: the Pumpkin Pod!

I've also made a couple of photo prop infant wraps from my art yarn.

Our Fall Garden

"Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?" ~Luke 12:27, 28
