Yesterday, we picked all the strawberry popcorn.

Larkin got a kick out of this little guy with really long hair!

After the kids were in bed, I shucked the little rubies and put them in an onion bag to dry.

Today, we pulled up all the cornstalks . . .
Photobucket

Photobucket

. . . chopped them, and put them in the compost pile. Then we planted sunflowers and morning glories and beans in their place. Hopefully, the kids will have a sunflower house to play in come fall.
Photobucket

And we dug the last of the potatoes.

Nothing to plant in that empty patch - how about some kids!

  1. What a beautiful little harvest you are getting already!! Our beans are not even out of the ground yet... my zucchini are about an inch long and not cukes in sight. I have to admit to being a bit jealous. ;)

    Blessings,

    Val

I'm also writing because you were one of the winners on Keep Me Curly's giveaway last week. You didn't include your email address and tomorrow is the last day to claim your prize. I'm Denise from Truly Pure & Natural, and we'd really love to send you that prize! :)
