Larkin's Kindergarten Graduation

Saturday was Larkin's kindergarten graduation. The class sang a song together, there was a slideshow that Jeremiah put together, and the kids received their diplomas. Then we all had cake and punch together. It was a special time for Larkin. I'm thankful for the great homeschool community we have here. The kids have some wonderful opportunities, memories, and friends.

  2. What a wonderful homeschooling community indeed!! I wish my children were part of something like this. How old is Larkin? I'm thinking kindergarten may be what we call prep here?

  3. He turned 6 in December. It's the year before 1st grade. It's an actual requirement here, unlike preschool which is for 3- and 4-year-olds. Generally kids start kindergarten at age 5 or 6.
