Painting, playing games, reading, sewing with the AHG troop, watercolor lanterns, legos with friends, chalk, window stars, dyeing silks (lots of good stuff from Childhood Magic), and bath towels are all brightening up these winter days.
And so is looking forward. . .

"I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life." ~Revelation 21:22-27

  2. I love all your rainbow projects Sarah! We don't have a "real" winter here, but I can imagine how you guys crave colours during yours. Thanks for referencing Childhood Magic - WOW. I have just been having a ball over there and am so inspired!!

  5. Beautiful photographs Sarah! You have inspired me with the window stars so much that I have just popped by 'A Toy Garden' and ordered some kite paper! It might take a while for us to get our order here in Ireland; but couldn't seem to find it closer to home! I love your blog, thank you for encouraging me to put away the textbooks and get out the paints and scissors!
