Please Pray For These

UPDATE: Fox News is reporting on the situation. Here's a link:
(Just a note: These parents were in the process of adopting from Haiti before the earthquake. The children have visas and parents waiting for them in the US, but the Haitian government is holding the children. Please pray for their quick release.)
A family I know is adopting two little girls from Haiti. This past week has been a roller coaster ride trying to get the girls out of Haiti. Today they flew to another state to pick up their girls, only to find out that they haven't left Haiti and the Haitian government is throwing up roadblocks. I don't want to give out specifics, but I do want to ask for prayers for these children and their family.

"For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing." Deuteronomy 10:17,18

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31b

"But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:6

  1. Sarah,
Thanks for sharing this. We will be praying. This will be such good news to my little Mae who has been crying for those children. This will brighten her day when I share the news that two little girls now have a home. We will pray hard for the roadblocks to be taken away and for them to soon be in the arms of their new Mama and Papa. Oh, my heart goes out to them. Tell them thanks from all of us here.. what a blessing.

I love your little "apples" in the tree :)

  2. Praying, Sarah!!!
