Everyday Granola

This is an adaptation of Moosewood's maple nut granola. I try to keep some on hand. It's quick enough to make in the morning, but I usually just make it whenever it's convenient and store it in an airtight container in the cupboard.

4 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. oat bran
1/4 c. ground flax seed
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. oil
1/2 c. maple syrup or honey
2 Tbs. blackstrap molasses

Preheat oven to 350. Oil cookie sheet. Mix all ingredients together and spread on sheet. Bake 15 - 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool. Add raisins or other dried fruits as desired.
